Contract
The contract is not experienced equally by everyone asked to uphold it.

You will be assigned a civic profile — an age, an occupation, a legal status, a set of constraints and stakes.

You will answer five civic dilemmas as that person.
Then you will answer the same dilemmas as yourself.

The gap between the two sets of answers will be read — not as proof of how structural position shapes reasoning, but as evidence of how you imagine it does.

That imagination is itself worth examining.

In role
You reason from an assigned position — imagining its specific income, legal status, constraints, and stakes.
As yourself
You answer again from your own position. The gap reveals how you imagine structural position shapes civic reasoning — which is itself a form of political knowledge.

Your reasoning
Now answer as yourself.

You have completed the five dilemmas as your assigned profile.

The same five dilemmas will now appear again.
Answer from your own position — your actual age, income, legal status, and situation.
